Position Summary:

This full-time position involves collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic and continuous care to patients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive patient care, including thorough health history documentation, physical assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing healthcare management.
  • Prescribe medications within the specialty area, conduct and interpret laboratory tests, provide case management, and engage in patient education initiatives.
  • Participate in the on-call physician rotation.
  • Conduct patient care audits to uphold quality assurance and participate in utilization reviews, ensuring high standards of care.
  • Engage in continuing education to maintain professional standards and may contribute to administrative functions, including performance evaluations and recruitment processes.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school is mandatory.
  • Experience with electronic medical records is essential.

Licensure:

  • Must hold a valid medical license to practice in the state.

Supervisory Duties:

  • Oversee professional and allied healthcare staff, including residents involved in patient care.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to interact with individuals tactfully and respectfully, regardless of their position.
  • Contribute positively to team dynamics, balancing individual and team responsibilities while upholding professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Effectively manage patient needs and navigate challenging situations, fostering trust and respect; actively seek constructive feedback.
  • Proficient in managing multiple priorities, working efficiently under pressure, and completing tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of leading and instructing others, delegating tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills in both individual and small group settings; complete administrative tasks accurately and punctually.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions while maintaining reliability.
  • Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are advantageous.
