Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate medical records, reports, diagnostic test results, and examination findings to determine the patient's medical condition.
- Address internal health issues, including hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and disorders affecting the lungs, brain, kidneys, or gastrointestinal system.
- Prescribe or administer medications, therapies, and specialized medical interventions to treat or prevent illnesses, diseases, or injuries.
- Manage and treat prevalent health concerns, such as infections, influenza, or pneumonia, alongside serious, chronic, and complex health conditions in patients of all ages.
- Deliver and oversee comprehensive, long-term medical care, including diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of diseases for adult patients in both office and hospital settings.
- Communicate procedures and discuss test outcomes or prescribed treatments with patients.
- Guide patients and community members on dietary choices, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention strategies.
- Diagnose when multiple illnesses present simultaneously or when the diagnosis is challenging.
- Refer patients to medical specialists or other healthcare practitioners as required.
- Monitor patient conditions and progress, adjusting treatments as necessary.
- Collect, document, and maintain patient information, including medical history, reports, and examination results.
- Provide consultation services to other physicians managing patients with unique or complex issues.
