ReqOverflow is seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Medical Technologist to perform accurate and timely laboratory testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical technology and excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory testing and analysis of proficiency testing samples
  • Conduct quality control procedures and handle problem and critical laboratory specimens/test results
  • Assume responsibility of the department as needed
  • Complete required records and documentation
  • Perform stat procedures within established turnaround time targets
  • Review pending logs and result logs, resolving any outstanding workload or communicating with staff relief
Requirements:
  • A 2-year/Associate Degree in Medical Technology or a related field
  • A State of Florida Technologist License (or equivalent)
  • Less than 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist
  • Technologist License in one or more clinical specialty areas (Generalist highly preferred)
