Insurance Support Specialist

About the Role:
This position is designed to enhance team effectiveness by providing support to insurance servicing staff. The primary focus will be to assist with administrative tasks, freeing up time for other team members to focus on their core responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist guests and customers in person or over the phone
- Answer and direct inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Complete new client proposals as needed
- Utilize computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, AMS 360, and Zoho One
- Assist insurance staff with various tasks and projects
- Manage all mail-related activities, including scanning, sorting, and filing
- Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers
- Take and deliver messages
- Fix malfunctioning office equipment
- Maintain customer database in Zoho One

- Must be computer proficient, especially in Microsoft Office
- Have strong customer service skills
- Ability to stay organized

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good work ethic and interest in learning new skills
- Ability to manage time efficiently
- Exceptional collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Florida 4-40 Customer Representative License
- Prior knowledge or experience in the insurance industry
- Previous experience with AMS 360 software
- Health insurance background
