About the Role

Fleis & VandenBrink is a leading civil and environmental engineering/architectural firm seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Farmington Hills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality engineering services to our clients, supporting project managers, and leading our design team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of municipal water, sewer, drainage, and road infrastructure projects, including the development of studies, preliminary and final design, and permitting.
  • Collaborate with our office engineers, designers, technicians, and surveyors to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Administer construction contracts, including review of construction submittals, pay applications, and project changes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering required.
  • Professional Engineer License (Michigan) is essential.
  • 5-15 years of related experience is desired, with a focus on municipal water and wastewater infrastructure, transportation projects, and construction oversight and permitting.
  • Proven experience in preparing and meeting budgets and schedules, as well as developing engineering scopes and work plans.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office is required.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with our team are essential.
