We are currently in search of an Accounting Analyst to join our dedicated team at our headquarters. This role is integral to our financial operations and will report directly to the Controller.

Position Overview
As an Accounting Analyst, you will be pivotal in our financial reporting and analysis processes. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and have experience in month-end procedures, data analysis, and financial reporting using advanced tools. We seek a meticulous team player with strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills, who can identify and rectify discrepancies in financial data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits of transactional data across multiple locations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Investigate discrepancies by tracing transactions back to source documents.
  • Analyze posting variances and manage bank account signature updates.
  • Oversee monthly closing activities, including journal maintenance, accruals, and allocation entries.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for various bank accounts.
  • Maintain support schedules for balance sheets and prepare multi-state sales tax filings.
  • Assist in the development and consolidation of budgets.
  • Document new processes and procedures as required.
  • Handle miscellaneous overflow tasks as assigned by the Controller.
Analytical Duties
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements.
  • Manage and analyze inventory cycle counts.
  • Collaborate with various teams to gather necessary data for financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards using advanced software tools.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on data sources and reporting tools.
Qualifications
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Proficiency in accounting software is essential.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including the ability to perform complex calculations.
  • Experience with financial reporting tools and systems.
