Position Overview: Christ the King School is in search of a dedicated, innovative, and enthusiastic fourth-grade educator who is eager to engage students and work alongside a highly skilled professional learning community in a nurturing educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a curriculum that aligns with the Diocese of Nashville Curriculum Guide, ensuring it is vertically aligned with elementary grades. Create lessons that are engaging, promote deeper understanding and critical thinking, and incorporate technology effectively.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and engage with parents to share student achievements and areas for improvement.
Faculty Expectations: Faculty members at Christ the King School exemplify their Catholic faith through their words and actions, actively seek professional development opportunities, and are committed to lifelong learning. Qualifications:
- Active Catholic
- A minimum of 3 years of experience teaching in an elementary classroom, preferably at the fourth-grade level
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education
- Valid Teaching License with an endorsement in Elementary Education
- Experience in differentiated instruction
- Strong classroom management abilities
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in technology and the ability to integrate it into educational experiences
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree or other higher-level qualifications.
