The PositionWe are seeking educators who are dedicated to working hard, having fun, and making history. Our ideal candidate will internalize and execute common curricula, build achievement-oriented cultures, and implement school-wide systems for scholar culture.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute unit plans, lesson plans, and materials that align with our rigorous curriculum.
- Build and maintain a positive, achievement-oriented culture among scholars and colleagues.
- Implement and evaluate school-wide systems for scholar culture, including morning motivation, lunch, recess, and closing circle.
- Communicate regularly with families and attend quarterly events, such as Report Card Conferences and Cultural Heritage Nights.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, including weekly sessions until 4:30pm.
- Commit to teaching a daily schedule from 7:17am - 3:37pm.
- Participate in 3 weeks of summer professional development starting in July, 2024.
