Wind Turbine Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Technician to join our team at NextEra Energy. As a Wind Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and optimal performance of our wind farm operations.

• Perform regular preventative maintenance and repair on wind turbine power generation equipment
• Complete electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting
• Maintain all company supplied equipment, facilities, and tooling
• Apply basic understanding of technical and process functions
• Manage own training schedules and meet all training requirements within designated time frames
• Able to meet attendance requirements
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

• High School Grad / GED
• Experience: 2+ years in a technical field, OR completion of a technical certificate/degree program
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
• Ability to climb a wind turbine up to 300 feet
• Post-Offer Functional Capacity Eval

• Associate's Degree
