Wind Turbine Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Wind Turbine Technician to join our team at Terra-Gen Operating Company LLC. As a Wind Turbine Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of wind turbines and associated equipment.

• Assist in the operation of wind turbine systems under the supervision of the Site Supervisor or Lead Technician.
• Learn and perform basic mechanical, electrical, and/or instrumentation tasks.
• Participate in turbine-specific training, both classroom and hands-on.
• Assist in the maintenance of wind turbines, including disassembly, repair, and assembly of small and medium-size equipment.
• Learn to read meters and gauges or automatic recording devices to verify operating conditions.
• Assist in the completion of paperwork, including timecards, work orders, and other required documentation.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred but not required.
• Desired qualifications: familiar with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment, systems construction, capacities, limitations, and operating procedures.
• Safe use of tools, plant safety rules, probable causes of equipment and systems malfunctions.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills in word-processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
