Job Title: Senior Network Engineer Financial Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team at Fortinet. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales organization in all technical matters related to pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-sales: Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint.
  • Sales calls: Be the main technical resource on sales calls and answer or educate the customer and partner on issues ranging from features, specifications, and functionality to integration.
  • Post-sales: Be the lead technical contact for identified accounts for technical issues and work closely with the technical support team and engineering to answer, elevate, and resolve customer technical issues.

Required Skills:

  • 8 years of experience in technical/presales support as a sales or systems engineer.
  • 7 years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.

Knowledge of the Following Technologies:

  • Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti-Virus.
  • RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Graduate Degree favorable.

Compensation:

Wage ranges are based on various factors, including the labor market, job type, and job level. On-target earnings for this position are expected to be $200,000 - $240,000.00 per year. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

Equity Program:

All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, and this position is also eligible for commissions based on the terms of the Sales Compensation Plan.
