About the Role

Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the position of HUB Manager for our Branch Operations group. This role is responsible for overseeing the transportation, inventory control, and distribution of products, parts, and equipment to/from our distribution centers and customers in a designated region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to/from distribution centers and customers.
  • Manage warehouse operations, including efficient storage and movement of products.
  • Extract and analyze data to generate reports that inform performance tracking and decision-making.
  • Develop and implement product handling programs, space efficiency initiatives, and labor optimization strategies.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and execution of order filling, transporting, and delivery/receiving processes.
  • Implement and utilize systems to ensure accurate identification, distribution, and storage of products within the warehouse.
  • Provide input to accounting, production, and scheduling departments to support financial reports, period forecasts, and annual business plan preparation.
  • Develop and enforce department policies, ensuring consistent application and adherence to company standards.
  • Train and supervise employees to carry out their responsibilities.
  • Oversee receiving, issue documentation, and resolve discrepancies with distribution centers and/or Logistics Department.
  • Generate reports based on data accumulated through the SAP system.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment and promote company standards.
  • Identify opportunities for value creation in product movement and distribution.
Requirements
  • Results-driven individual with experience working in a high-performance environment.
  • Proven ability to establish effective planning systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple complex tasks and adapt to changing customer requests and delivery schedules.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and drive continuous improvement.
  • Critical thinking and analytical abilities, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Solid planning, leadership, and administrative skills, with a high energy level and ability to work under pressure.
  • Good understanding of business principles and practices, with the ability to effectively manage the materials function with a focus on bottom-line results.
Experience and Education
  • 6+ years of experience working in a multi-site distribution center.
  • 2+ years of field logistics experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, preferred.
