* Evaluate mechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs and applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
* Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software for mechanical design
* Strong understanding of mechanical design, physics, micro-fabrication, CAD, and data analysis
* Demonstrated understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and methods
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work well in teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Strong attention to detail, with an emphasis on quality
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage time effectively
* Proven track record of project management and organizational skills
* Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools
