Position Overview
The role involves a variety of patient care tasks and supportive services for designated clinic patients, as directed by the Clinic Director and/or Nursing Director, to ensure the provision of timely, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Actively engage in LEAN/HONSHA training and contribute as a member of the Core Team.
2. Participate in clinical initiatives aimed at improving quality outcomes to meet organizational goals.
3. Foster positive relationships, motivate team members to excel, develop career advancement plans, and maintain an accountable workforce.
4. Provide coaching and guidance to staff, administering appropriate disciplinary measures when necessary.
5. Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team and support services, including Physicians, PSRs, Medical Assistants, and others.
6. Attend departmental meetings and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and promptly, adhering to departmental standards.
7. Maintain clinic workflow efficiency, including managing breaks, ensuring exam rooms are prepared, ordering necessary supplies, and supporting provider productivity.
8. Ensure compliance with TJC, DHS, CHDP, and Medi-Cal Managed Care regulations.
9. Engage in continuous improvement efforts and implement Lean tools (e.g., 5S, A3) to evaluate and measure results.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned, including Waive Testing and Phlebotomy, provided appropriate training has been completed.
11. Ensure all staff receive timely new hire and annual training.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an ambulatory care environment or similar setting preferred.
- Valid California State Board LVN License required.
- Current American Heart Association healthcare provider CPR (BLS) certification, or equivalent advanced life support training.
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Compensation:
The expected base salary for this position is $42.27, with final compensation determined by factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience. We emphasize pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in final offers.
