About the Job
Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technician to fill a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for assisting with cardiovascular procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with cardiovascular procedures, including coronary and peripheral interventions
- Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
- Prepare and maintain patient records, including medical history and procedure details
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction
Requirements
- Current certification as a Catheterization Laboratory Technician (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a cath lab setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
