Job Summary

The Stratton Mountain Freeskiing Head Coach will provide exceptional coaching to athletes of all levels, preparing them for competition and fostering a positive team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive in-season programming plans in collaboration with the Program Manager.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, incorporating new methods into seasonal goals and daily training plans to maintain a fresh and valuable experience for athletes and parents.
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including athletes, parents, and staff, to ensure seamless training schedules, critical program updates, and event details.
  • Collaborate with the team to establish best practices, prioritize tasks, and maintain excellent guest and employee rapport.
  • Supervise training venues to ensure safety and only authorized individuals are present.
  • Participate in working groups and maintain the highest safety standards and code compliance.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience participating in and coaching within their respective discipline at a state/local event.
  • Knowledge and understanding of US Ski & Snowboard and/or USASA rules and regulations.
  • US Ski & Snowboard and/or USASA membership.
  • Current Safesport, CPR, and First Aid certifications, as well as CDC Heads Up Concussion certification.
Travel Requirements

Regular event travel may be required, with reimbursement provided for authorized expenses.
