Job Summary
The Production Support Team Lead will contribute to the achievement of business unit KPIs by supporting operational and engineering teams in the operation and maintenance of process equipment throughout their lifecycle.
As a key operational leadership role within the Pharma Services business, the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the management of the maintenance staff in Audubon.
Key Responsibilities
- Support operational and engineering teams in the operation and maintenance of process equipment
- Manage a team of people supporting new product introductions
- Control handover of process from initial phases to general production use
- Ensure all relevant production staff are fully familiar and/or trained on the equipment, process & associated documentation
- Become technically proficient in regard to the process, equipment and product enabling the individual to become a Subject Matter Expert
- Ensure project timelines are adhered to and when issues arise escalate them appropriately
- Support the delivery of an effective and efficient qualification and validation in accordance with Almac Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and customer specifications
- Support the compiling of any Standard Operating Procedures linked to the Process
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years of work experience in Pharmaceutical, Food or Medical Device industries
- 5 years experience operating equipment in a manufacturing / production environment
- 1+ Experience in leading a process such as the introduction of a new piece of equipment or product
- 1+ year supervisory or process Lead experience or project management experience within a pharmaceutical or regulated environment
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of medicinal goods
- Knowledge of production scheduling, project management, change control and validation
