About the LPN Role
Job Summary:
- Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per Diem opportunities available
- Days, Evenings, or Nights shifts available
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support to unit leadership and respond to resident and family needs within the LPN scope of practice
- Use nursing process, judgment, and skills to set priorities and deliver quality direct resident care
- Perform and administer standard nursing treatments and medications, observing residents for desired or unwanted effects
- Communicate and collaborate with the care team to revise and update the Nursing Care Plan
- Monitor and document vitals, treatments administered, and residents' responses
- Prepare, organize, oversee, and evaluate delivery of care for resident CNA assignments and activities
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Licensed and currently registered in good standing in New York as an LPN
- Dedicated to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, and compassionate care
- Must possess a spirit of cooperation, caring, and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and optimal resident health
- Have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills
- Work well under pressure and willing to work harmoniously with all staff
- Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but not mandated
