Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at St. John's Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Position patients and equipment to obtain the best possible images.
  • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Assist radiologists and physicians in interpreting images.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
Requirements
  • More than six (6) months of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Current certification of The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT ARRT).
  • Current Certified Radiology Technologist certification (CT CRT).
  • Current Fluoroscopy permit (CT RTTF).
  • Current AHA CPR certification (CT CPRBLS).
Special Skills
  • Must meet Tech II minimum expectations on performance evaluation.
  • Must have working knowledge of all diagnostic imaging equipment.
  • Must also know all departmental protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members, physicians, and the patient population.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Self-motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team-oriented environment.
