Role: Radiology Tech II - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

We are looking for a qualified Radiology Tech II to enhance our imaging department. In this role, you will be integral to our healthcare operations, utilizing advanced radiologic technology to produce diagnostic images. Collaborating with physicians and healthcare staff, you will ensure the delivery of precise and high-quality imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans.
  • Prepare patients for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Position patients and equipment to achieve optimal imaging results.
  • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment following established safety protocols.
  • Assist physicians in the interpretation of imaging results.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of six (6) months experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Current certification from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT ARRT).
  • Current Certified Radiology Technologist certification (CT CRT).
  • Current Fluoroscopy permit (CT RTTF).
  • Current AHA CPR certification (CT CPRBLS).
  • Completion of quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification is required post-hire.

  • Must meet Tech II performance evaluation standards.
  • Proficient in operating all diagnostic imaging equipment.
  • Knowledge of departmental protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues, physicians, and patients.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a cohesive team.

This position is represented by SEIU UHW and is governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
