About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Center Physician Leader to join our team. As a key member of the center's medical staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of donors participating in plasma donation programs. Your primary responsibility will be to provide medical oversight and guidance to staff, conduct screening medical evaluations, and assess test results to determine donor suitability. You will also be expected to maintain high medical standards, ensure adherence to cGMPs, and review abnormal test results.

The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical medicine, leadership, and compliance, with a strong background in similar roles or responsibilities. You should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a commitment to quality and safety are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides medical oversight to Medical Staff Associates, including their training, although such training may be delegated to an approved Medical Staff Associate.
  • Evaluates newly trained Medical Staff Associates for completion of training and recommendation for certification by Regulatory Affairs.
  • Reviews and signed Medical Staff Associates notebooks weekly, including a review of approximately one out of five screening medical evaluations and unsuitable test result communications.
  • Meets with Medical Staff Associates at least once a month to discuss medically related topics.

Requirements:
* MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school
* Must maintain a current and active medical license in the state in which the Center is located
* One year of residency training as an MD or OD
* Familiarity with Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and all relevant procedures in the company Plasma Operating Procedures

Salary Range: $150,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
