Position Overview:
We are in search of a qualified Chief Mechanic to enhance our team. The successful candidate will possess significant expertise in construction machinery, particularly cranes. Key duties involve diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various construction equipment to guarantee peak performance and efficiency. This role offers a full-time schedule with competitive remuneration and benefits.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of construction machinery, with an emphasis on cranes, excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Work closely with equipment operators and project supervisors to identify equipment problems and prioritize repairs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma is required; a degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a mechanic in the construction sector, including a minimum of 1 year in a master mechanic capacity.
  • Proven skills in diagnosing and repairing construction machinery, especially cranes.
  • Expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
