We are seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team at Hartford Hospital and surrounding sites in Hartford County. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide value-based care to Oncology patients in outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide triage and outpatient management of cancer patients, including urgent visits, chemotherapy pre-treatment visits, follow-up appointments, and ongoing survivorship care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with various types of cancer.

Qualifications

  • Eligibility to be licensed in Connecticut as a Physician Assistant (PA), or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), is required.
  • Eligibility to be certified as a Physician Assistant (PA), or National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) is required.
  • Oncology experience as a Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, or RN is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is preferred.
