Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Oncology Unit at Spaulding Hospital-Boston & Cambridge. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with colleagues, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with cancer and related conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and promote patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in oncology nursing.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Effective verbal, electronic, and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Initiative and ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations.
