At US Renal Care, we're dedicated to revolutionizing the lives of individuals living with kidney disease. As a Patient Care Technician, you'll be an integral part of our cross-functional team, providing exceptional care and delegated activities of treatment to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse (CN) for patients with renal failure.
  • Provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment to patients.
  • Initiate treatment, monitor patients during treatment, terminate treatment, and collect patient blood samples per physician orders.
  • Ensure quality comes first by preparing machines for hemodialysis treatments, cleaning and disinfecting machines after treatment, and conducting machine safety checks and logging results for quality control.
  • Use appropriate safety measures, including personal protective equipment.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
  • Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
  • Must be comfortable mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.
  • Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
