Job OverviewPosition Summary

The Expeditor is essential in supporting the restaurant staff by ensuring that meals are prepared according to established guidelines and presentation standards. This role is responsible for the timely and courteous delivery of food and items to patrons, aligning with the company's quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Organizing prepared dishes, ensuring appropriate garnishing and presentation, and delivering all items as requested.
  • Managing guest orders through an automated quick-service restaurant ticketing system.
  • Delivering food promptly and in an appealing manner.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members.
  • Acting as a liaison between the front-of-house service team and back-of-house kitchen staff.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the restaurant's menu offerings.
  • Carrying trays and plates, clearing tables, and refilling beverages.
  • Providing exceptional and attentive customer service to enhance the dining experience.
  • Assisting with cleaning tasks and supporting other staff as necessary.
  • Adhering to company grooming and hygiene standards.
  • Demonstrating honesty and integrity in all aspects of the role.
  • Completing tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a full-service restaurant.
  • Flexible availability for evening and weekend shifts.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety protocols.
  • Aptitude for suggestive selling.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two or more years of experience in a full-service restaurant environment.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

The individual must meet the physical demands of the position, which includes standing, bending, lifting, and other movements throughout the shift. Frequent interaction with guests and coworkers is required. The work environment may present various hazards and exposure levels.
