The Red Gate Group is a leading provider of innovative solutions to the Department of Defense (DoD). As a Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in defining and vetting architectural solutions that integrate emerging technologies with new warfighting constructs through modeling, simulation, and experimentation. This position involves working closely with military services to develop cutting-edge solutions addressing critical national security challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement hybrid software, web, and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance.
  • Integrate various network operating systems, application programs, and hardware devices through system specification, design, coding, testing, and maintenance support.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and briefings on research and development (R&D) projects.

This role requires a strong background in engineering, with experience in conceiving, planning, and conducting research in problem areas of considerable scope and complexity. You should have demonstrated skill in making decisions independently on R&D engineering problems and methods, and resolving important questions and planning work.

Requirements
  • Active Top Secret/Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
  • Ten years of experience as an IT professional overseeing the creation of hybrid software, web, and hardware products.
  • Seven years of experience supporting R&D Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in using advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practices for each lead of the four functional areas: Intelligence and Mission Capabilities, Architecture, Applications, and Mission Integration.
