Job Title: Press Brake Operator

Trillium Staffing is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and tending machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal or plastic material.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate press brake machines to fabricate metal parts
  • Examine completed work pieces for defects and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws
  • Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications
  • Set stops on machine beds, change dies, and adjust components as needed
  • Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data
  • Test and adjust machine speeds or actions according to product specifications
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating press brake machines
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating water jet machines
  • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of product conversion
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
