About the Role

The Site Reliability Engineer - Consulting Lead will serve as the main point of contact for our globally known clients, maintaining communication channels to ensure excellence, innovation, and achievement of project goals. You will leverage your people management experience and technical expertise to guide and hold your team accountable for business unit objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead internal teams in addressing client needs and meeting business objectives throughout various ongoing, simultaneous consulting projects
  • Represent the company in client-facing activities and serve as point of contact and escalation for any client feedback or concerns
  • Demonstrate technical expertise through deliverables, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and management of assigned teams
  • Communicate regularly with leadership on progress and provide ongoing feedback to improve client satisfaction and internal business performance
  • Consult in system design to meet reliability and capacity requirements
  • Automate infrastructure and configuration management
  • Conduct timely post-mortems of production infrastructure incidents
  • Assist with all aspects of operational security and compliance
  • Seek out potential threats to security and reliability and advocate solutions
About the Candidate

Requirements
  • 7+ years of technical experience
  • 3+ years of people/team management experience
  • Proven experience in Git, GitHub actions, or other CI/CD tools, Kubernetes & AWS
  • Experience with a programming language like Python, Golang, and/or Java
  • Deep experience with Kubernetes and surrounding tool sets
  • Experience developing and monitoring mission-critical systems using tools such as prometheus/grafana and datadog
  • Prior experience working at an innovative technology consulting firm
