We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director, Data Science to join our team at AbelsonTaylor Group. As a key member of our Integrated Strategy team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and informing marketing decisions through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Collection & Manipulation
    • Automate data collection from multiple sources, including 3rd party vendors, to provide a single, unified view of customer data.
    • Integrate data from various channels and sources into a single warehouse, ensuring data quality and integrity.
    • Clean and mine data to provide actionable insights and guide clients in prioritizing data sources.
    • Develop and implement A/B testing and other experiments to measure program outcomes.
    • Oversee internal and 3rd party tagging setup for websites and other brand assets to ensure smooth data collection and aggregation.
  • Data Interpretation & Data-Driven Insights
    • Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Create marketing measurement plans with core KPIs that can be fulfilled via automated data collection, aggregation, and analysis.
    • Present results of modeling and analysis clearly and compellingly to inform marketing decisions.
    • Tell a story with data, using visualizations to support conclusions and insights.
    • Provide data-driven insights that directly support marketing leadership decision-making at the brand or portfolio level.
  • Critical Thinking, Communication & Collaboration
    • Guide clients on the best metrics and data to use to evaluate marketing programs.
    • Communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders through clear and concise reporting.
    • Collaborate with other members of the Integrated Strategy team and other teams within the agency to drive business growth.
    • Anticipate and prevent problems and roadblocks before they occur.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of progressively complex experience in marketing analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of advanced analytics tools and languages, including R or Python.
  • Experience with A/B testing and developing methodologies to measure program outcomes.
  • Datorama expertise strongly preferred; Improvado or Domo experience also favorable.
  • Expertise in Google Analytics and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of UTM best practices.
