Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range for this position reflects a nationwide market range, encompassing a wide spectrum of salaries for this role across the country.

The actual salary will be influenced by various factors, including the role's scope, complexity, and location, as well as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.

Additionally, our comprehensive compensation and benefits program includes eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?

Our Enterprise Operations teams at CFA Institute are dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences for customers and agents, driving revenue growth, and fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.

The Premium Audit team conducts thorough audits on property & casualty commercial lines policies to determine appropriate classifications, exposures, and premium bases, adhering to company, industry, and state regulations.

As a Senior Premium Audit Associate, you will manage audits of increasing complexity with minimal oversight. Audits may be performed virtually or in-person.

This position is fully remote and may involve a mix of mobile work and work from your primary residence.

This role will support the California territory while working core business hours aligned with the Pacific Time Zone.

What Will You Do?

Conduct audits of moderately complex Commercial Lines policies (e.g., Workers' Compensation, General Liability, Auto) through interviews, reviews, and verification of customer business operations to ascertain proper classifications.

Review financial and accounting records, including payroll, tax returns, and ledgers, to determine final exposures.

Communicate audit findings to customers, agents/brokers, and business partners (primarily underwriting) to ensure clarity regarding changes in premium exposures.

Build and maintain relationships with customers, agents/brokers, underwriters, and other internal business partners.

Stay updated on changes and current information related to premium auditing through various resources.

Perform additional duties as assigned.



What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

- Bachelor's degree.
- Two years of Premium Audit experience, including auditing various types of property and casualty commercial lines policies.
- Completion of APA 91 and 92.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey information to customers, agents/brokers, and business partners.
- Strong analytical skills for efficient and effective audits.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

What is a Must Have?

- High school diploma/GED.
- One year of Premium Audit or related experience.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
