- Collaborate with customer service to understand shipping requirements and logistics.
- Promote safety by ensuring personnel are equipped with the necessary personal protective equipment, work plans, and training.
- Understand job profitability by efficiently scheduling and managing resources.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and guidelines.
- Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT and other regulatory requirements.
- Follow all corporate operating procedures and environmental health and safety guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Prior experience in transportation or logistics.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, verbal, and written skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other computer skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Capable of performing physical tasks as required by the position.
- Must successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical as applicable.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and dispatching/logistics experience.
- Leadership and supervisory experience.
- Familiarity with RCRA/OSHA regulations.
- Waste Disposal - Comprehensive management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste at company-owned facilities.
- Recycling Services - Extensive options for recycling, reuse, and reclamation of materials such as solvents, chemicals, oil, and electrical equipment.
- Chemical Packing - Safe and efficient handling and disposal of a wide range of chemicals, including reactives and compressed gases.
- Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Services - Collection programs for HHW of all types and sizes, facilitated by expert personnel.
