Join our dynamic team on 5 South at West Allis Medical as a Graduate, Newly Licensed or Experienced Registered Nurse.
ResponsibilitiesProvide care for patients being treated for Stroke, ACE (Acute Care for the Elderly) and Acute Medical/Surgical diagnosis. Attain NIHSS certification to assess the impact of stroke, trajectory of outcomes and impact to activity of daily living.
5 South has a diverse patient population which provides continuous learning opportunities. This unit has a wide variety of diagnosis, comorbidities and treatment plans.
This is a great opportunity to build your foundation in nursing, become certified in the specialty of Med/Surg and learn a variety of skills applicable to any area.

- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
Newly Licensed Nurses or Experienced Nurses welcome
