Sustainable Environmental Engineering Opportunities

Farallon Consulting LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Environmental Engineer to join our team in Bellevue or Seattle, Washington offices. As a key member of our environmental engineering group, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects that align with our company's core practices.
Responsibilities- Perform professional engineering work on projects involving remedial investigations, engineering support for industrial compliance, remediation system design and construction, and stormwater system design, construction, and BMP implementation.
- Conduct field activities including stormwater inspections, construction observation and verification, and environmental sampling and monitoring under the supervision of senior staff.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will also assist in developing and performing feasibility studies, interpreting data relative to applicable regulations and standards, and developing conceptual designs and performing alternatives analysis.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or related engineering discipline.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate or ability to obtain within one year.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and complete basic reporting and paperwork tasks.
- Knowledge of appropriate state regulations, including health and safety regulations required to perform typical field and office tasks.
- 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER).
- Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training.
- 2+ years of field experience.
- A competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 based on education and experience.
