DBSI Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled RBI/Inspection SME - Asset Criticality Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for performing asset criticality assessments to identify assets that require review for Risk-Based Inspection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Asset Criticality Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to identify assets that require review for Risk-Based Inspection.
  • Refinery Process Expertise: Demonstrate a good understanding of refinery processes to implement Risk-Based Inspection strategies.
  • Risk Assessment and Ranking: Possess expert-level knowledge of risk assessment, risk ranking, and inspection planning.
  • Integrity Data Management: Be well-versed in different integrity data management systems, including PCMS, Meridium, Capestone, Visions, and UltraPIPE.
  • QAQC Review: Ensure acceptable scores in the QAQC review process.
  • RBI Configuration and Data Load: Responsible for all RBI configuration and data load activities in PCMS.
  • Data Gathering and Mining: Actively participate and drive data gathering and mining efforts to ensure data accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Deliverable Review: Pre-review all deliverables to ensure RBI processes and principles are applied to client standards and best practices.
  • Team Guidance: Provide guidance to other team members to ensure RBI configuration is considered in all efforts.
  • Corrosion Review and Risk Review: Facilitate Corrosion Review, Risk Review, and Inspection Planning Review sessions.
  • Work Process Improvement: Responsible for collecting and closing any gaps in the work process pertaining to mechanical, process, and inspection history data collection.
  • Consequence Area Definition: Define and set consequence areas that will be used in calculations (inventory grouping).
  • Risk Analysis: Conduct risk analysis and ensure results are practical and accurate.
  • Mentorship: Mentor site personnel throughout the implementation regarding the RBI methodology.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Engineering degree or a high school diploma/GED in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 16-20 years of experience employed by an owner-operator company as an RBI engineer in a refinery or chemical plant.
