We are seeking a dependable and experienced daycare support specialist to join our esteemed, award-winning home-based childcare service.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary duties of a Childcare Support Specialist encompass, but are not limited to:
- Facilitating positive interactions with children through constructive language and encouragement.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, organized, and enjoyable environment while upholding professionalism.
- Caring for a maximum of eight children across various age groups throughout the day.
- Adhering to company policies, licensing standards, and mandated child-to-staff ratios.
- Implementing the Mother Goose Time Curriculum or other designated projects effectively on a daily basis.
- Ensuring family satisfaction through ongoing communication and availability.
- Collaborating with the Provider to foster developmentally appropriate practices and meet accreditation standards, licensing obligations, and company protocols.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
A minimum of three years of experience in childcare is essential. Additional experience working with children, such as babysitting or nannying, will also be considered. Certification in CPR/First Aid is mandatory. Candidates must be willing to complete 15 hours of state-required training within the first six months and an additional 15 hours within the subsequent six months, totaling 30 hours of training. Work hours may vary weekly based on enrollment. This position is part-time with the potential to transition into a full-time role.
