About the Job: The Aircraft Mechanic III-Electro-Environmental will primarily perform all scheduled and unscheduled aircraft and equipment electro/environmental maintenance, both on and off equipment, on assigned aircraft and equipment in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), M1 policy, DAFI 21-101(and supplements), as well as industry standards.

Responsibilities: This position requires the ability to determine functionality of non-complex electrical systems, troubleshoots/repairs complex problems, and prioritize and direct the activities of other technicians. You will also be responsible for maintaining aircraft and support equipment forms records IAW Air Force procedures utilizing Air Force Information Systems and forms as required.

Requirements: To be eligible for this role, you must have a minimum of 10 years performing aircraft electro/environmental maintenance functions in a military environment, with at least three (3) years of F-117A experience preferred, and attainment of an Air Force 7 level (or equivalent) required. You must also possess excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet aircraft delivery schedule.

Working Conditions: This position requires complying with unique commuting/travel requirements, working in aircraft hangars and outside on aircraft ramps within close proximity of running equipment and aircraft, and exposure to loud and persistent noise.
