Responsibilities
As a Clinical Office Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Receiving phone calls and responding to patient concerns.
- Obtaining prior authorizations for prescriptions and procedures.
- Scheduling follow-up appointments for physicians.
- Assisting with other office duties as needed.
- Rooming patients, performing vital signs, and obtaining patient medical histories.
- Stocking/cleaning exam rooms and office.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A C.N.A certification and/or Phlebotomy certification.
- One or more years of healthcare experience (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
