Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Resort Housekeeper to join our team at Island Hospitality Management.

This is a seasonal position that requires regular cleaning and maintenance of resort facilities, buildings, and rental properties to ensure a high level of cleanliness and sanitation.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in cleaning and janitorial work, as well as knowledge of safety measures when using cleaning chemicals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all areas of the resort, including facilities, buildings, and rental properties
  • Ensure all tables and chairs are clean and functioning properly
  • Clean and sanitize appliances to prevent the buildup of food particles, mold, and mildew
  • Defrost freezers as needed
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, ensuring they are well lit and safe
  • Follow all established safety procedures and precautions
  • Report any unsafe or hazardous conditions, incidents, or accidents to management
  • Ensure the overall appearance of the resort is well maintained and orderly
  • Perform other cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned
Requirements
  • 6 months of previous experience in cleaning and janitorial work
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general janitorial work
  • Knowledge of safety measures when using cleaning chemicals
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet
