Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist II to join our rehabilitation team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, and increase strength.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and tests to identify problems and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Implement and progress treatment plans, ensuring timely and effective patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers and support team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide clinical supervision to rehab aides and ensure compliance with department and organization requirements.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Current PT-Physical Therapist licensure or approved license applicant/resident training program employee.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience preferred, but new grads and candidates with less experience will be considered.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Critical thinking, complex problem-solving, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills, as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service, and community relations abilities.
Work Environment

This is a short-hour position with a variable schedule, including rotating weekends. The pay range is $61.91 to $77.38 per hour, and the salary range may vary based on location.
