About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Valiant Integrated Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission to provide intelligence analysis and support to federal, state, and local law enforcement and public safety agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Intelligence Gathering and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of various information sources, including open-source information and other intelligence disciplines, to identify potential threats and trends.
  2. Database Management: Access and manage various government and non-government databases to extract relevant information and support intelligence analysis.
  3. Collaboration and Liaison: Collaborate with state, local, federal partners, and private sector representatives to share intelligence and support joint efforts.
  4. Product Development: Create high-quality intelligence products, including threat assessments, trends analysis, and information bulletins, to support decision-making and operations.
  5. Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including maintaining eligibility for a U.S. Government SECRET clearance.
Requirements
  1. Security Clearance: Must be eligible to receive a U.S. Government SECRET clearance and maintain it throughout the course of employment.
  2. Background Check: Must be able to pass an Orange County Sheriff's Department (OCSD) background check, including a polygraph examination, before commencing employment or performing services at the fusion center.
  3. Training and Certification: Must agree to comply with training standards and policies associated with the fusion center, and obtain a Basic Intelligence Training Analysis Course (BITAC), Foundations of Intelligence Analysis Training (FIAT), or Critical Thinking and Analytic Methods (CTAM) program certificate or equivalent certification within the first six months of hire.
  4. Education and Experience: A minimum of three years of intelligence analysis experience is required, along with either a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or substantial relevant work experience that can serve as a substitute for the degree.
Work Environment

Analysts will work a 4/10 schedule, with flexibility in start times, and must be willing to adjust their schedule as needed. Some after-hours availability and willingness to respond to the fusion center during an emergency are expected.
