Responsibilities
- We are seeking a highly skilled Home Medical Equipment Technician - Patient Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through the safe delivery, setup, and education of medical equipment.
- Your primary focus will be on developing a working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by AdaptHealth LLC, as well as applicable governmental regulations.
- You will also be responsible for educating customers on proper use and care of respiratory and HME equipment in a home setting, providing them with exceptional support and guidance throughout the process.
- In addition to these responsibilities, you will be required to complete required documentation following equipment setup, delivery, or pickups as necessary, ensure timely order processing, and promote services and products to referral sources in the community as appropriate.
- Maintaining accurate records and staying updated on company policies and procedures are essential aspects of this role.

Key Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent qualification is necessary for this position.
- Previous experience in entry-level sales, customer service, or related roles can be beneficial for this role.
- A valid and unrestricted driver's license in the state of residence is required.
- Additional requirements may include prior work experience, training, or certifications relevant to the field of Home Medical Equipment Technology.
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this role ranges from $55,000 to $65,000 per annum, depending on location, experience, and qualifications. Please note that compensation packages may vary based on individual circumstances.

Work Environment
- This role requires regular lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, as well as occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds. It also involves sitting, driving, and performing moderate to heavy physical labor while moving equipment and supplies.
- You may be exposed to unsanitary conditions in some home settings and may encounter hazardous materials, loud noises, extreme temperatures, direct or indirect contact with airborne pathogens, and other challenging environments.
- This role requires independent driving and travel as needed, which may involve exposure to high-crime areas within the service community.
