Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of water and wastewater projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and direct project design and project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Conduct detailed design of water and wastewater systems, including drainage designs, wastewater pumping design, and stormwater management design.
  • Utilize HydroCAD software for designing and modeling stormwater management systems.
  • Perform technical and feasibility studies, including site investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to provide updates and address any issues or concerns.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies.
  • Continuously monitor and report on project progress, offering solutions to any potential issues.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in water project management.
  • Proven experience in waste water, drainage designs, wastewater pumping design, water treatment, and stormwater management design.
  • Proficiency in HydroCAD or similar software.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong technical knowledge of water and wastewater systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • A professional engineering (PE) license is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
