We are seeking a skilled Ag Diesel Technician to join our team at AKRS Equipment. As a premier John Deere dealership with 27 locations in Nebraska and Kansas, we offer a dynamic work environment and opportunities for career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on agricultural equipment, including tractors and other heavy machinery
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using specialized tools and equipment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer training and industry developments to maintain expertise

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic/technician performing service repairs
  • Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment
  • Ability to perform basic computer functions
  • High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
  • A valid driver's license is required
