Position Overview: Senior Public Finance Planner

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Senior Public Finance Planner. The ideal candidate will possess experience in impact fee assessments, manage a variety of projects, think both creatively and analytically, and collaborate effectively within a team setting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct technical analyses related to impact fees, infrastructure planning, and funding assessments.
  • Support technical analysis efforts.
  • Assist in the formulation of Project Scopes of Service.
  • Develop written summaries of analyses, including visual data representations such as graphs and charts.
  • Create presentation materials for client engagements.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing collateral, including project proposals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Planning, Public Administration, Geography, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Preferred: Certified Planner (AICP) license or in the process of obtaining it.
  • Strong analytical and qualitative skills.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data effectively.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Some experience in project management.
  • Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Preferred knowledge and experience in the following areas:
