About the PositionThe LaFetra College of Education at the University of La Verne invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of associate or professor to begin in the academic year within the Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership Program (Ed.D.).
Responsibilities- Teach graduate-level leadership courses, including face-to-face and online/blended courses.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the program's core competencies.
- Advise and serve on doctoral dissertation committees.
- Contribute to the development of the program's research agenda.
- Participate in academic and professional organizations.
- Ph.D. or Ed.D. in leadership or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
- Significant leadership experience in P-12 education, preferably at the cabinet level.
- Depth and breadth of knowledge of pertinent theories and practices relative to leadership program content.
- Experience teaching graduate-level leadership courses.
- Proficient in adult learning strategies and technology integration.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
- Record of scholarship and research in the discipline.
- Evidence of knowledge, skills, and experience in teaching/training leadership, team, and organizational dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.
- Established research agenda and recent peer-reviewed publications.
