Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Employee Benefits and Wellness to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering our employee benefits and wellness programs, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Benefits Program Development: Design, implement, and administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
  • Wellness Program Development: Develop and implement wellness programs to promote employee health and well-being.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, and HIPAA.
  • Communication and Education: Develop and implement communication and education strategies to inform employees about benefits and wellness programs.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with benefits and wellness vendors, including health insurance providers and wellness program providers.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain reports and analytics to measure the effectiveness of benefits and wellness programs.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 8 years of experience in benefits and wellness program management, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience with benefits and wellness software and systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Professional certifications, such as SHRM-CP or PHR.
