L&R Distributors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our customers' fulfillment and distribution requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
  • Ensure execution of our customers' fulfillment and distribution requirements, monitor and maintain proper safety and security controls, and support appropriate integrity controls
  • Stock/replenish items to their appropriate departments and shelves with unpacked items
  • Safely utilize forklifts and power jacks to move materials according to proper safety instructions and as directed
  • Operate a lift truck or hoist shipments from receiving platform to storage/reserve area
  • Determining work procedures, preparing work schedules and expediting workflow
  • Ensure that all employees are in compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations and other company-related policies and procedures

Supervision

This position is frequently supervised by the Warehouse Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • One year of leadership experience

Physical Demands

This position requires standing 80% of the day, light lifting (up to 50 lbs.) for 80% of the day, and stooping for 20% of the day.
