We are currently seeking a qualified Infrastructure Project Engineer. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, design, and execution of complex civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop budget estimates, manage costs, and establish schedules for assigned projects.
  • Assess project feasibility through comprehensive data analysis and cost calculations.
  • Prepare or oversee the creation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, installation timelines, environmental impact assessments, and project designs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including utilities and community representatives, to coordinate project efforts.
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and tools such as Civil 3D and MicroStation, along with hydraulic modeling software.
  • Apply knowledge of hydrology and hydraulic modeling to create sustainable solutions for stormwater management, sewer systems, and potable water distribution.
  • Support the training and development of junior staff members.
  • Contribute to the preparation of engineering proposals, including defining scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Deliver presentations to clients and relevant organizations.
  • Engage in building strong client relationships and enhancing market presence.
  • Specialize in land development engineering and understand the entitlement process.
  • Navigate the land development application process from initial submission through to construction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Possession of a valid Professional Civil Engineer registration in CA.
  • A master's degree in a related field is preferred, along with certifications in stormwater management or QSP/QSD.
