Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and services. Our pharmacy team is dedicated to delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and checking for potential interactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service, engaging with patients and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including entering patient and drug information, and processing prescriptions.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in training and development programs to maintain knowledge and skills in healthcare and pharmacy.

Requirements:

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
